Gary is Poverty Hollows utility man, singing baritone or bass as necessary to fill out Poverty Hollows trios and quartets. He has been playing bluegrass for over twenty years and was a founding member of the bluegrass gospel band Jerusalem Ridge. Gary currently lives in the town of Somerset.

Pam has been playing for a total of 57 dog (house bass) years and provides the solid foundation for the band. Her harmonies were influenced at an early age by the close harmonies of the old time gospel quartets. When she's not playing bass you'll find Pam teaching math for the Mt. Pleasant School District.
